Cadbury Screme Eggs Get Goo Goo'd In A Goopocalypse



This Halloween, Cadbury Canada created an awesome ad campaign by re-breanding their Creme Egges to the Screme Eggs. Oh and it isn't pretty, they have risen and they're hungry for one thing and their Easter brethren. To launch this new green goo-filled seasonal treat, ad agency The Hive waged a Goopocapalyse and an epic battle between good and evil eggs told through long-format horror movie-esque videos.


The Last Stand spot came with this message to all viewers:
Goo, goo goo goo goo goo Goopocalypse.

"Groceries With A Message" Battle On Facebook


The Biggest Dutch retailer Albert Heijn involves consumers in sustainable message with "Groceries with a message" battle on Facebook.

Yesterday Albert Heijn launched a Facebook app with an animation of two sustainable products battling for the most Facebook likes. Fans can vote by liking their favourite product. The sustainable product that receives the most likes will get a 50% discount in stores the week after. After the campaign, an infographic will be given back to the community, providing insights to the effects of the choice made by consumers.

Through this activation, but also by giving the opportunity to ask questions and give tips, Albert Heijn wishes to actively involve their customers in their sustainability message and inspire them to make sustainable choices. After all Albert Heijn feels that, together with their customers, they can make a difference.

The Facebook activation is part of the overall campain “Doing more. Simply at Albert Heijn”, wherein products communicate their sustainable message on receipts, plastic bags, stickers and trucks.

Cow & Gate Supergroup Advert - Extended Version



Take a handful of adorable toddlers, put them in a music studio with instruments in hand, have the 1982 hit song "Come On Eileen" by Dexys Midnight Runners playing and you have a great ad for British Cow & Gate baby food maker.

"At Cow & Gate we believe that the best part of parenting is seeing your little baby become a little person. To celebrate this belief and share our point of view with Mums and Dads we have developed a new TV advert. You can now watch even more of the adorable Supergroup in this extended version".

As cute as this advert is, nothing beats the Evian Live Young Dancing Roller Babies commercial.

Bull Balls Beer Is Here...Seriously | Rocky Mountain Oyster Stout



What started out as an April Fools joke (video above) is now a reality for Colorado's Wynkoop Brewing Company. The beer maker has officially begun producing beer made will bull testicles; Rocky Mountain Oyster Stout aka Bull Balls Beer.

Bull Testicle Flavored Beer, Anyone?

The company says that Rocky Mountain Oysters are arguably Colorado’s most popular local dish. They are sliced by hand and then roasted before being added to the beer, which is also made with Colorado-grown base malts, roasted barley, seven specialty malts, Styrian Goldings hops, and sea salt.

Rocky Mountain Oyster Stout has a deep brown color and is said to feel slightly viscous, with equally deep flavors of chocolate syrup, Kahlua, and espresso, along with a palpable level of alcohol and a savory umami-like note. It finishes dry and roasted with a fast-fading hop bite. Head brewer Andy Brown said:

We’ve been making ballsy beer for the past few years and this is great proof of that.

A new advert for the famous department store Harrods of London combines food and fashion to create an intriguing persona for the famous department store. The sexy ad above entitled "Style To Savour" features the Harrods Ice Cream Parlour and three lovely models, a lot of lips and of course ice-cream. Harrods better known for its luxury boutiques and culinary-chic cafes, the company is looking to expand its market of loyal customers by creating a timeless, “acquired” look that pairs well with fine dining, which according to industry expert, Brittany Mills, will help them in the long run:

Food and fashion are both an acquired taste and when a person likes a particular restaurant or designer, they are loyal for a lengthy amount of time. Fine food is not a fad or a trend and compliments that lifestyle of Harrods’ target buyers…I think Harrods will successfully be able to extend its reach by going after a complimentary industry that has a large, loyal following.

For all you Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate lovers comes a great new commercial entitled "Pinata" and oh ya there is a giant pinata in this one. The ad from Ogilvy & Mather, Toronto and production company Holiday Films introduces two new Cadbury Dairy Milk flavours: Cookie Crunch and Salty Caramelized Peanut by staging a giant pinata on a busy city street. Eager stick swingers attempt to bang it open, after a few attempts the pinata splits open dumping thousands of chocolate bars onto the street where a crowd of Cadbury lovers dives in...Welcome to Joyville.

Arby's Ask Canadians To "Believe The Unbelievable"



To prove how unbelievable Arby’s new Hot Turkey or Roast Beef Three Cheese & Bacon sandwich truly is, Blammo has enlisted the help of real people who’ve experienced UFO sightings, ghosts, or other paranormal activity. Through a series of documentary-style videos, we meet these individuals and hear their amazing supernatural tales. When each is asked about the new Three Cheese & Bacon from Arby’s, they simply can’t believe a sandwich like this actually exists.



Numerous individuals with tales of UFO, ghost, and Big Foot sightings were screened and interviewed prior to the selection of the final participants. The campaign was directed by Suneeva’s Shelley Lewis.

“Although we didn’t have the biggest budget for this particular promotion, we didn’t let that dictate our approach,” says Andrew Simon, Chief Creative Officer, Blammo. “Thanks to our amazing production partners we made the impossible possible.”

The Three Cheese & Bacon sandwich will be available in all Arby’s locations starting October 1st. Media includes in-store signage and digital support. The videos will be disseminated through Arby’s Facebook page and other social media channels.

Cadbury Dairy Milk Mint Bubbly Revealed Live In A Google+ Hangout



Last night in a world first Cadbury exclusively unveiled their brand new Dairy Milk Bubbly Mint live on a Google+ Hangout with lucky Cadbury fans.


The fans were sent the product and instructed not to open it until the event, hosted by two magical Joyville workers, where everyone opened their chocolate bars and tasted the new flavour for the first time together.

The unveiling caused such a stir on the channel that it was featured for the day on Google's 'What's Hot' section, which encouraged viewers and Cadbury's 2.5 million strong community to watch the event live on-air.

Sexy New Carl's Jr. Memphis BBQ Burger Commercial



Carl's Jr. is at it again with a new sexy steamy commercial introducing us not only to the Memphis BBQ Burger but the lovely ladies working the grill. Sara Jean Underwood (the blonde) and Emily Ratajkowski (the brunette) show us just how good pulled pork on a cheeseburger can be.

With pulled pork on a cheeseburger, it's BBQ's best pair.
The new Memphis BBQ Burger at Carl's Jr. combines a charbroiled cheeseburger, pulled pork, BBQ sauce and crispy onion strings all on a seeded bun.


“BBQ’s Best Pair,” takes place at a bustling Southern BBQ Festival, where a beautiful blonde and a beautiful brunette face off over a BBQ pit for room to grill their goods – burgers and pulled pork, respectively. Tensions are high as they jockey for position on the blazing grill, when the two have an epiphany: BBQ pulled pork and charbroiled cheeseburgers are the perfect pairing.

Maria Sharapova, the 25 year old tennis star just got herself into the candy business with the launch of "SugarPova". "I think it’s important that any venture, business or otherwise, feel authentic," said Sharapova amid the frenzy of launch day. "As a little girl, I was awarded a lollipop after a good practice...I’ve had a love affair with candy ever since."

So what make's SugarPova different from any other candy? "We felt that there was an unmet market need for a fun, flirty, feminine candy collection that felt luxurious but was also accessible. Most candy is marketed to children--but grown-up children need their candy too," says Sharapova.
