The Power Of The Web...
Good's agency arm Good/Corps has officially partnered with Google for a series of television spots that promote small businesses. The campaign, which began with Good's presentation to Google about the two organizations' shared vision regarding social value, currently has two spots. The first one, Frank Restaurant, about a mom-and-pop establishment, debuted earlier in the fall. The second, King Arthur Flour, is about a centuries-old startup that gained a new lease of life with its partnership with Google.

The aim of the campaign is to connect Google, an economic powerhouse in its own right, with small businesses with a huge history, like King Arthur Flour, and how these businesses have reinvigorated themselves with the help of Google.

Google Opens The ChromeZone Store In London

Google opens their first retail shop in the UK, The "Chromezone". The store is located inside PC World at Tottenham Court Road in London. The "Chromezone" offers Google's Chromebook, giving consumers a hands on experience of the Samsung Chromebook.
Arvind Desikan, Head of consumer marketing for Google UK, said that 80% of laptop sales are in-store, not online.

"It is our first foray into physical retail," he told The Evening Standard. "This is a new channel for us and it's still very, very early days. It's something Google is going to play with and see where it leads."

"We found anecdotally that when people tried the device and played with it, that made a huge difference to their understanding of what the Chromebook is all about," he added. "People will be able to go in and have a play with the devices. We want to see whether people understand what this device is all about and monitor their reaction when they try it out."

Google Chromance by Superfad

Google took to Superfad to create this animated spot for the Google Chrome browser titled "Chromance".

It seems confusing the first time you watch it, but actually there is a great story in the video. The white ball is you or me and you have a question needing an answer to, Chrome bridges the gap between it and the info-world. The roller-coaster ride is a search engine, that shows the process of going through various search results and websites, which eventually lead to the correct answer and Chrome does it best.
