Lipton Tea Featuring the Music of Outlines "Discover How Far Tea Can Take You
It's a commercial for Lipton Tea, No it's a music video for the Outlines new song "I Cannot Think", actually it's both.
Lipton releases a new music clip based on a song by the Parisian duet "Outlines".
Using the same spirit as the surrealist pop outdoor campaign and the website http://www.liptoninfinitetrip.com launched early this year for its Exclusive Collection, Lipton invites us once again to discover how far tea can take us.
A melodic adventure signed by DDB Paris.
The completely animated clip has been developed in partnership with the production house B-reel. It features the elements which contributed to the Internet website success : an "Infinite Travel" though six surreal, pop and poetic universes which seem to be never-ending.
The Outlines music title "I cannot think", launched in July, gives rhythm to it all. The result of the pairing can only be cheerful.

Finlandia Vodka "The Evolution of Perfection"
The Finnish animation studio Undo teamed up with a Finnish production house Komia to create this spot for Finlandia. The film is directed by Juuso Syrjä.
Fluid simulation was used to create the impossible shots where the vodka would rise up and form the shape of the bottle. A fairly complex setup was made in Realflow to direct the fluid growing, and a lot of growing collision geometries were used to move the digital fluid to match the shape of the bottle.
Mission accomplished!

Looking Back at Apple The Crazy Ones TV Commercial
A look back at Apple's Crazy Ones TV spot makes you think just how fitting it would be to have Jobs himself appear in the ad.
In Steve Jobs return to Apple in 1997 he not only brought back his old ad agency but the Think Different campaign was finished and well the rest is history.
"Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules, and they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify and vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as crazy, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do."

Ikea Happy To Bed Advert
IKEA gets personal on YouTube
Home furnishing experts IKEA has today launched the first ever personalised 3D showroom on YouTube. Drawing on information from Facebook, IKEA’s tool creates a bespoke 3D bedroom that can then be explored and tailored by users to create their perfect bedroom.
Customers will be shown an IKEA bedroom that will perfectly suit them based on their own Facebook information and living situation by visiting www.youtube.com/IKEAUK. IKEA has even gone to the trouble of hanging photos of customers’ loved ones on the walls to ensure they really do experience their perfect bedroom environment. Other features in the 3D showroom include the ability to see detailed product information and to click through to IKEA.co.uk to purchase any home furnishings featured within the bedroom.
The personalised 3D showroom forms part of a wider bedrooms campaign by IKEA and follows a UK wide study of over 2million people into how Britons live life at home. The 3D showroom creates bedroom experiences based on insight drawn from the study including:
Creating bedrooms that support TV and internet for those most likely to use it.
Incorporating workspace to reflect the growing trend of working in the bedroom.
Smart storage solutions to address the decline in living space across the United Kingdom.
Helping customers see the potential to create a happier space in their bedrooms for a better night’s sleep.
IKEA have used the results as part of a £2.5million investment into redesigning the bedroom roomsets in stores across the country. The redesigns will ensure all IKEA bedroom roomsets are locally relevant, specifically reflect the way people live their life at home and showcase the solutions that help people go to bed happy.
Carole Reddish, deputy UK & Ireland country manager for IKEA says: “We want to be the experts in truly understanding peoples’ needs, wants and dreams to help them live a happier life at home. So we understand that every bedroom is unique, it is a space that needs to fulfil so many roles; for some it’s a place to work, for some a sanctuary, above all though the bedroom is a place to sleep. This tool uses design, inspiration and lifestyle to show what’s possible when creating the room of your dreams, ultimately helping you go to bed happy.”
Charlotte Morton from Google's Creative Agency Partnerships team says: “This is an innovative use of social media illustrating what is possible on YouTube for a creative brand like IKEA. We're excited to be part of such a forward-thinking campaign.”

Wrath of the Storm UAE Armed Forces TV SPOT
This is the latest handiwork from Nola Pictures Director Chris Hartwill, who teamed up with Eye Squad, Dubai to showcase the fighting power of this uprising nation.
A golden desert panorama, silent F-16 fighter jets, a placid sea. Suddenly, a giant, surreal sand tsunami is rising over the horizon, and the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces launch. The footage then toggles back and forth between a high-tech command center and a fusillade of furious weaponry: F-16s, battle ships, tanks, armored jeeps, and helicopters. Soldiers swarm from aircraft, seacraft and by land. In the end, the force is overwhelming - the menacing desert tidal wave sinks harmlessly into the earth.
"The commercial portrays UAE's armed forces as the highly sophisticated, modern, well equipped, technologically state of the art, premier fighting force that they are," noted Nola EP Charlie Curran. "Chris Hartwill delivered just that, bringing all his knowledge, talent and experience to the table to produce an incredible spot. He is a complete filmmaker, a director who knows how to get things done, leading his clients and crew with confidence and vision."
Such a wild shoot is sure to have some wild stories behind it. The best line heard at pre-production, according to Hartwill, "Chris, how many F-16s would you like, and where would you like us to park them?"
