AudioEngine Mixer and Partner Rex Recker, in collaboration with NYC's Gotham and Smuggler's Henry Alex Rubin, mixed an entertaining Reebok Sports Licensed Division's Speedwick spot starring the NHL Pittsburgh Penguins' Sidney Crosby and Maxime Talbot.
When the two standouts face off in Crosby's basement, firing pucks across the room into Sidney's childhood clothes dryer, Recker ensured that the booming noise of the puck colliding with the metal crossbar, and additional game play sounds, synched perfectly with the onscreen action. audioEngine also facilitated the transition from live action to the still logo shots with the mix of an upbeat track that kicks in at the contest's conclusion. Great new ad for Diet Coke entitled "Stay" Extraordinary created by Wieden+Kennedy. The coke ad features the music of The Temper Trap and one of new fav songs "Sweet Disposition".
Director Christian Loubek, working via Wieden + Kennedy, just helmed an impressively varied spot for Diet Coke. The sprawling, wordless :60 is a poignant, musically driven portrayal of the iconic soft drink's place amid great acts of art and accomplishment. A man fueled by Diet Coke hobnobs with an urbane crowd at a swanky big-city party. A nurse cares for newborn babies with the soft drink by her side. The drink is there beside the runway of an edgy fashion show, on the set of an explosive outdoor movie shoot, in the limo of an actress preparing to take to the red carpet, and in the painting of an expansive mural in a neighborhood. This iconic ad first came out in 1971 during a time of war and unrest and it quickly touched a chord with people with it's message of peace. The famous TV ad campaign has been remade several times since, but just like Coke itself - nothing compares to the original. Like the group of Hilltop singers who first sang the legendary "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing,", it was special moment in time.
Anonymous Content Director David Kellogg, working via FilmMaster for Leo Burnett Italy, created a light-hearted :30 showcasing the Fiat Doblò. Set in a sandy tropical paradise, the spot is a montage of three men goofily preparing for the rigors of fatherhood: one pats a pig slung over his shoulder, another rocks a shopping cart full of fruit, and all three wrap a coconut as though it were a newborn. The reason for the hijinx becomes apparent when their three very pregnant companions appear beside their Fiat and the whole crew piles in for a fun-filled ride along beautiful palm tree-lined roads. Kellogg executes the entire scene perfectly, wrapping an entire appealing world into the confines of a :30.

When Pepsi released their 1984 now classic ad 'Close Encounter', aliens and UFO's were all the rage thanks to Steven Spielberg and his blockbuster movies E.T. and Close Encounters. Pepsi capitalized on the trend and made a memorable spot that pays homage to both films. As part of Pepsi's huge marketing campaign 'The Choice of a New Generation', this TV ad was an important component in Pepsi's strategy to take market share from Coca-Cola.

To support the launch of Sundance Channel's newest series, Be Good Johnny Weir, the network designed a promo concept and secured Absolute Post and @radical.media's Matthew Rolston to create the dazzling spot. The series follows the day-to-day exploits of U.S. National Champion skater Johnny Weir. The promo airs nationally on the Sundance Channel.
The promo begins with Johnny emerging from a Faberge egg and launching into his performance within the halls of Versailles as snow falls. Weir continues his signature saucy act as the scene shifts to snowbound forests with frozen streams, then to lakes, and finally into an ever-brightening luminescent "Sun King" room where the phenomenon skates to the camera and blows his adoring public a cheeky kiss. Weir - decked out in his customary assortment of ostentatious costumes, ranging from Lycra diamond-studded tights and stilettos to fur capes to Weir-designed classic onesies - stands out against the dazzling Absolute-produced backdrops with the fierce energy and attitude that defines him on the ice. The mix of glamour and lightheartedness perfectly expresses Rolston's vision of a tongue-in-cheek personification of Weir.
Rolston shot Weir on green screen, working closely with Absolute's Head of CG Minh Nguyen-BA and the Blind Pig design team to ensure that his movements would later sync with the backgrounds. Absolute created these separate environments as completely CG spaces and digital mattes, which presented lead Flame artist Josh Laurence and his team with a number of challenges. The opening hall of chandeliers was a huge task, with layers of detail and texture required to realize the vision spelled out in Rolston's intricate references.

The first interactive theatrical commercial by Jung von Matt & Film Deluxe. Last Call is the first interactive horror movie in the world where the audience is able to communicate with the protagonist. A film controlled by a member of the audience, thus blurring the boundaries between game and film. Language recognition software transforms the participant's answers via mobile phone into specific instructions. A specially developed software then processes these commands and launches an appropriate follow-up scene. The dialogue between the movie's main actress and an audience member leads to a different film - and outcome - every time: sometimes with a happy end, sometimes with a more gruesome one. To participate in the adventure, audience members submit their mobile phone numbers to a speed dial code when they buy their ticket. The moment the female protagonist takes out her phone to call someone who might be able to help her, the film's controlling software contacts one of the submitted mobile phone numbers. Once the viewer picks up, he hears the actress's voice - who tells him she would be lost without him. He has to help her escape by choosing a path through the old, rundown sanatorium. Furthermore, he also decides whether she should help other victims to flee the scene -and every single choice shapes her fate: it's a matter of life and death.
