Greg Jennings Wants You To Believe in your Smellf | Old Spice

Green Bay Packers' Greg Jennings is the new face of the Old Spice "Believe in your smellf" commercial campaign entitled "Film", Jennings plays frisbee with Rosco the dog on a movie a set and explains how to be the star of your own life.

The "official deodorant and body wash" of the NFL, Old Spice tapped Jennings (according to Old Spice North America brand manager Jason Partin in a press release) because he "embodies the true spirit of a champion, and this campaign is designed to reach NFL fans in need of a little extra confidence when tackling whatever life throws their way."

“Approaching life with a winning attitude has helped me achieve my goals and conquer any challenge that I've been faced with," says Jennings in the release. “I’ve always been a huge fan of Old Spice and jumped at the opportunity to work with them on this campaign. I think NFL fans will get a kick out of seeing me in some pretty compromising situations in these commercials."

Not sure if this a spoof or real, either way this tweet exchange between Old Spice and Taco Bell is awesome. Taco Bell easily wins this battle with the "...is your deodorant made with really old spices?" Twitter response.

New Old Spice Sea Captain Commercial

Get ready for the new Old Spice Sea Captain TV ad created by the Ad Agency Wieden+Kennedy. The Smell Better Than Yourself Old Spice campaign will debut tonight during the NFL season opener, the first spot above, features a ship captain in a down pour of gold coins, then punching an octopus while impressing his wife. Hopefully the second spot in the campaign, "Jet Pilot" will be better than this; set to be released in a couple of weeks.

Old Spice's Ad Man of the Year Comes to Print with Fresh New Ad Campaign

The enormously popular Old Spice TV commercials starring former NFL player Isiah Mustafa have now come to print, and it has not lost it's effectiveness in this new format. The print ads titled 'Komodo', 'Fiji' and 'Matterhorn' were created by ad agency Wieden+Kennedy, the original creators of the touted Ad Man of 2010. Old Spice are definitely getting their moneys worth out of their successful collaboration with the Portland based ad agency - and as long as they continue to produce innovative adverts like these then their is no reason this campaign can't continue for years to come.

Old Spice Ad Campaign Never Gets Old

Ad agency Wieden+Kennedy, along with former NFL player Isiah Mustafa return with a quick 17 second spot titled 'Fiji', that features the hunk with something even more adorable then him - puppies. The undeniably charming and enormously popular ad campaign continues to create fun and innovative scenarios for the Ad Man of 2010 that will hopefully continue for years to come.

Take a 'Scent Vacation' with the 2011 Old Spice Super Bowl Commercial

Banking on the popularity of last years Old Spice Super Bowl Ad, the much anticipated sequel has finally arrived for Super Bowl XLV. The Old Spice Man himself, aka Isiah Mustafa, has returned in his now iconic role, as Old Spice is not messing around with their winning formula. The only real difference is that the former NFL star has replaced his white towel for a grass skirt. The ad however still works as a great piece of advertising and is sure to still be one of the most popular spots for this years big event. Impressive still is that the commercial, as in previous versions, is shot in one take with no edits.

"I'm Back", The Return of Old Spice's Ad Man of the Year

Banking on the success of their 2010 Super Bowl ad campaign, Old Spice has released this new spot featuring the now legendary advertising hunk Isaiah Mustafa. Of course the commercial features the former NFL star in his famous getup; shirtless with just a towel around his waist. The spot, like the previous Old Spice versions, is done in one take with no edits. Quite impressive as the monologue is over 1 minute long.

Best Ad of 2010: Old Spice "The Man Your Man Could Smell Like"

In 2010 Old Spice launched a 3 day on-line campaign that quickly became the fastest growing ad campaign in history with over 6 million views after only 24 hours. Old Spice's agency Wieden+Kennedy not only created an on-line phenomenon but made the TV commercial's star Isaiah Mustafa a cultural icon of 2010. The funny TV spot also aired on the Super Bowl and is widely considered the most memorable of the 2010 Super Bowl ads. Interestingly, the scene was a single shot and done in one take with no edits, CGI or blue screens used. The creators took 3 days to shoot and 53 takes to achieve the amazing effect. Sets were lifted using pulleys and even Mustafa's towel was ripped off with just a hook. Definitely worth taking a look back at one of the great ads of 2010.
