Racy CougarLife Billboard is Sure To Cause Some Trouble

This new billboard popped up on Sunset Boulevard today for CougarLife, we'll just back and enjoy the fallout from all the Mother F$%#kers.

via LAWeekly by
We're not sure what's scarier, the new billboard above Sunset Boulevard that declares "CougarLife.com for MOTHER F***ERS" or the fact that there is actually a site for such classy MILF-chasers and granny-philes.

Okay, they're not all grandmothers. The recommended starting age for a cougar-dating search on the site is 35.

Feel sleazy? Just wait, because CougarLife claims that ...the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, home of said tasteful billboard, is the epicenter of American cougardom.

Cindy Rocker, the site's "head of cougar relations" (really), claims the 90069 zip code (hair city USA) has the most cougars per capita of any other zip code.

It's like the Def Leppard groupies moved there in 1985 and never left, yeah?

Anyway, this is supposed to be about that startlingly shocking billboard. A publicist says it's "controversial" and that it's "turning heads."

Sure.

Who are these bottom-feeding, cougar-hungry people anyway? Oh yeah, men.

Wonderbra Adriana Cernanova Billboard - Ultimate Plunge

Wonderbra wants to give women "the confidence to embrace the plunging neckline trend" with their new bra called the Ultimate Plunge. Wonderbra introduced the bra by installing a giant billboard at the Battersea Power Station in London of Adriana Cernanova wearing the new Ultimate Plunge.

Oh it gets better...A crane was set so women could bungee jump into Cernanova's mondo-cleavage.

Smoking Billboard for OutBack SteakHouse Back Fires

A new billboard went up on Interstate 85 in Norcross, Ga. for the OutBack Steakhouse with the tag line "Wood Fire Grill. Good for steaks. Bad for Billboards." The billboard installation included smoke machines to create that fire grilled illusion, pretty cool your thinking, maybe but the 911 operators didn't expect all the calls they got from motorists reporting that the billboard was on fire.

"We are unveiling our new wood fire grill steaks and thought this would be a way to catch drivers attention," said spokesman Hassiba Braggs.

The company said it alerted the Gwinnett County Fire Rescue about the billboard, but according to fire officials, the word was not passed along before both police and fire trucks were dispatched to the area because of calls to 911.

Get Loopy with Great New Hotwheels Billboard Ad

Hotwheels of late have been creating some of the coolest new ambient ads to promote their iconic toy car brand and this new billboard is no exception. In this clever new South American campaign, Colombian based ad agency Ogilvy & Mather have created a billboard race car track that appears to be built into a highway overpass bridge.  This billboard not only pulled of an impressive optical illusion for an ambient ad, but  it is a great example  of effective advertising, as the looped track has become synonymous with Hotwheels and their classic toy.

A very interesting property development marketing campaign was launched in Porto Alegre's 4th District in Brazil by real estate developers Rossi Fiateci and ad agency Leo Burnett. The idea was to promote and rediscover an old industrial area by creating interactive billboards that tells the story of the newly established neighborhood. Writer Carpinjar Fabricio wrote 4 life stories using the neighborhood as the backdrop where people could follow the narrative on billboards throughout the rejuvenated community.

Campbell Soup The Giant 32 Foot Noodle Billboard in Times Square 'Slurp' Campaign

Campbell Soup erects a giant billboard in Times Square to let the world know there are 32 feet of egg noodles in every can of chicken-noodle soup, pretty cool huh?
They make their point, compliments of the ad agency BBDO, New York, by using a chicken-noodle-soup billboard in Times Square portraying a 54-foot noodle emerging from the bowl while a mannequin in a red-and-white shirt appears to be slurping it from a window three stories above.
"We wanted to remind people how the soup they love more than any other is full of the stuff they love most," Eric Christianson, business director- Campbell's condensed soups, said in a statement. "Our TV commercial, 'Slurp,' as well as our print ads, use the billboard and giant noodle imagery to drive home the value we offer in each can. It just made sense to bring that same idea to life with a real billboard above one of the busiest intersections in the world."
