Killer Jeans Are Real Water Savers

A new print ad campaign for Killer Jeans claims to be a real "Water Saver". The ads include a bold statement that Water Saver Jeans save 80% of water, and thanks to doing so "I can water a nursery for an entire week, shower longer with my man, make infinite ice cubes for my MojitoPartay and provide water for an entire village in East Africa". The other two ads from the campaign created by the ad agency Karan Rawat, make similar statements about water and what you can do with it thanks to their jeans. Thumbs up to them if these are facts and not just more greenwashing.

John Cameron Mitchell Shoots Promo Ad for DIOR

Director John Cameron Mitchell and Anonymous Content, in a direct-to-client relationship with high-end fashion, fragrance and accessory giant DIOR, just released an epic 6:00 promo for the company. Lady Grey London is a fanciful mini-epic that funnels the DIOR mystique through the actions of the enrapturing Lady Dior - across one night in London.

Mitchell wrote the script and worked closely with DIOR's in-house creative group over a few weeks to complete the concept. The project followed the release of this year's acclaimed Rabbit Hole, a Mitchell-directed film about a couple struggling to deal with the death of their young son.

The video follows another Anonymous Content-produced viral short for DIOR, DIOR Homme Fragrance's Un Rendez Vous, a sexual tryst set in Paris, directed by Guy Ritchie, and starring Jude Law. "We have a very good relationship with DIOR," noted Anonymous Content EP/Head of Commercials Dave Morrison. "They were really big on John after seeing his recent work, and were thrilled we could deliver him for their campaign. His work is second to none. But that's what sets Anonymous apart - our ability to deliver the best talent to turn out projects that perfectly balance advertising and Hollywood."

3D projection mapping in the city centre of Amsterdam for H&M

H&M brought their flagship store in Amsterdam to life with a 3D projection mapping on the historic building. For over 3 minutes, invited guests and a gathered crowd enjoyed a surreal fairytale of light and magical effects. A red ribbon, wrapped around the building, untangles and transformed the building into a colorful dollhouse where nothing is what it seems. Simply brilliant and nice to watch.

Deep Blue Quicksilver Jeans Print Adverts 2008

deep blue jeans quicksilver ads
quicksilver advertsThe new Quicksilver Deep Blue advertising campaign created by the world famous Saatchi & Saatchi is truly amazing work by the ad agency.
I have being reading so many comments in other advertising forums about how this idea is original, never done before and award winning material. I will agree that the lighting, photography and the excecution is amazing, and even Cannes material, come on it's Saatchi & Saatchi. But I will not give them credit for an original idea on these Quicksilver Deep Blue prints adverts.

In my defence I give you the Taco Jeans commercial from 2007, who first put jeans on a fish and created a pretty cool ad campaign.

Two great advertising campaigns non the less, I love em both.

John White Advertising Campaign for 2008

Here is a selection of the John White advertising campaign for 2008, these adverts will appear in Trade magazines including the fashion weekly magazine "Drapers" and Consumer magazines including the bestselling quality men's magazine "GQ".
Personally, in North America we can't handle ads like this but in Europe this is nothing to edgy at all. In case you did not notice, John White is in the shoe business out of Milan, Italy. Did you even notice the shoes?
