Jay-Z "Gotta Vote" Commercial for the Obama Presidential Election Campaign

Jay-Z shares why it is important to exercise your right to vote and how President Obama represents the power of our voice in a new TV ad/commercial from the Obama presidential election campaign entitled "The Power Of Our Voice".

As Jay-Z shares:

"For so long, there was this voice that was silenced out there as far as exercising your right to vote. I think it was a voice that was silent because people had lost hope. They didn't believe that their voice mattered or counted."

"Now people are exercising their right, and you are starting to see the power of our vote. He made it mean something for the first time for a lot of people. "

Usain Bolt for Nissan GT-R and Krispy Kreme?

Jamaica's multiple gold medal winner Usain Bolt stopped at Nissan's GranDrive testing track and Yokohama headquarters, bringing his record speed and excitement to Japan and becoming Nissan's Director of Excitement. I'm sure the fact that Nissan team is developing a special "Bolt" version GT-R.

Bolt appeared at Nissan's world headquarters, saying: "Racing is my inspiration, and I want to help Nissan become an even more exciting brand for everyone."

In recognition of Bolt's contribution to sports and his automotive enthusiasm, Nissan's Chief Operating Officer unveiled a unique gold-painted GT-R, which will be auctioned to benefit the Usain Bolt Foundation (http://usainbolt.com/foundation/).

Bolt, who was picked up Tokyo's Narita Airport in a GT-R driven by F1 racer Mark Webber (below), is expected to contribute further to Nissan's "WHAT IF_" global brand campaign.

To continue building brand momentum at Nissan, TV commercials featuring the Nissan LEAF electric vehicle, called "What if you could drive the future, today?", will also start airing.

But here's what really caught my eye about the big production
Nissan and the new Director of Excitement...
At about the 1:00 minute mark Bolt enjoys a delicious doghnut during a
brief interview of the "To the World: Usain Bolt in the Nissan House" video.
Not just any doughnut, but a magical creation of warm gooey goodness from
Krispy Kreme. An obvious product placement? Maybe, maybe not...

I've got the pockets in my arms
Settin' off smoke alarms
And I eat 'em smokin hot
'Cause I got it going on
-
I'm a hot dude, with some hot dreams
Getting fired up, letting off steam
Everybody showing love -- Herbie's in da tub
Checkin' applications for the Hot Pockets fan club
Pepperoni pizza, much better than some fish eggs
The interior too hot let it cool off for a few secs
I'm running for the taste, that can be my phys ed
Chompin Hot Pockets, that's how you get ahizzead
Winners get the meaty meats,
Winners get da cheesy eats
The tag-team meal that's too hot for TV
Get off my pockets, you gotta backup
Yup that's whatssup, now sign the prenups
Me and Hot Pockets never gonna splitup
You should think about it.....take a second.
-
I bring the heat, but y'all knew that
Da Big Sauce Boss, yeah, I had to do that
I keep it fired up, even when I'm inside
You take what's mine, then ya gonna have to run 'n hide
He light 'em up so much that everybody talks
They all wanna turn in his Hot Pockets Box
Two, one, yep, three these Pockets are H O double T
Smokey temps hitting that three thirty three
If you can't stand it this hot
Then you can't chill with me
So bring your friends, we going on a wild ride
Herb Sauce tender meats heat yo insides
So don't change the dizzle, turn it up a lizzle
Got some cheesy drizzle dripping on my shizzle
Waiting on the brizzle's, the pizzle, the dizzle Gs, when da cheese hits your tongue it'll scream "Fo Sizzle"
-
Hungry kids in the crib ma
Pocket like it's hot
Pocket like it's hot
Pocket like it's hot
When the craving's got a hold of you
Pocket like it's hot
Pocket like it's hot
Pocket like it's hot
And yo munchies get a attitude
Pocket like it's hot
Pocket like it's hot
Pocket like it's hot

WTFU2012 Samuel L. Jackson Narrates Wake The F**K Up

Samuel L. Jackson narrates "Wake The F**K Up." It goes like this: a girl realizes her family, who back in 2008 were so involved in political campaigning, seems to have become a bit lazy about the whole thing this year. So Jackson steps in to help her convince these guys to get out and do something. "Sorry my friend, but there's no time to snore. An out-of-touch millionaire has just declared war. On schools, the environment, unions, fair pay. We're all on our own if Romney has his way. And he's against safety nets. If you fall, tough luck. So I strongly suggest that you wake the f*ck up."

We Found Tim Allen In Two New 2013 Chevy Malibu Commercials

Chevrolet introduces the all new 2013 Chevy Malibu Eco and the 2013 Chevy Malibu LTZ with a new ad campaign, "Malibu State of Mind" featuring Tim Allen as the brand's voice in the spots. OK so it's not the first time Allen has been the Chevy's voice in their TV ads but, didn't anyone really notice the commercials he did last year?

At least Tim Allen is easier on the ears, know where near as frightening as having to listen to the two goofy couples singing that 80's smash hit song "True" in that other Malibu Eco commercial.

Jessica Simpson Weight Watchers "Choices" TV Commercial

Just in case you've been wondering where Jessica Simpson has been we found her in a new ad for Weight Watchers. Celebrity PSA Launch The Respect Challenge

Nicole Kidman, Gabrielle Union, Julianne Moore, baseball legend Willie Mays and more of Hollywood’s brightest are lending their voice to Futures Without Violence’s new Respect Challenge in a new PSA ad campaign.

Press:
Nicole Kidman credits her parents. America Ferrera thanks her fifth grade teacher. And Willie Mays recognizes the impact of his father. To kick-off an online campaign and contest called The Respect Challenge, the national nonprofit Futures Without Violence has produced a PSA that features top celebrities expressing their gratitude to a person who taught them a valuable life lesson - a lesson in Respect.

The PSA, a key ingredient in the national Facebook campaign which launches on Monday, September 10, features responses from such VIP talent as Nicole Kidman, Ed Harris, Julianne Moore, Gabrielle Union, America Ferrera, Joe Torre, and Willie Mays. Aretha Franklin’s iconic song, “Respect,” provides the soundtrack for the video. The PSA will also be available on Facebook, futureswithoutviolence.org, giverespect.org. and YouTube.

“There’s never been a better time for a national conversation about Respect,” says Esta Soler founder and president of Futures Without Violence. “Whether you’re on the political campaign trail, or just headed back to middle school, let’s stand up to bullies and remind them about Respect.”

The interactive Facebook campaign, designed to celebrate everyday role models and heroes, provides an opportunity for the public to write an online thank you note, or post a thank you video about the person who taught them Respect. Two lucky entrants will earn a donation of $10,000 to a school or nonprofit organization of their choice, as well as a VIP trip to New York City to attend the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. After the initial entry period (September 10 – October 12), fans will be invited to vote on 10 finalists who have submitted a compelling written note or a video.

Scheduled for an online launch on Monday, September 10, The Respect Challenge was introduced at the San Francisco Giants vs. Los Angeles Dodgers game on Sunday, September 9, when the Giants hosted their annual program, Strike Out Violence Day. Baseball legend Willie Mays, featured in the PSA, made a special appearance during the festivities.

Futures Without Violence, a national nonprofit and social change organization with offices in San Francisco, Washington DC and Boston, created the campaign with the generous help of AKQA, one of the most-respected ideas and innovation agencies in the world. AKQA’s San Francisco Media team not only provided strategic consultation but secured more than $400,000 in donated online advertising space for the campaign and contest.

Wildfire, a division of Google, and a leading social media marketing software provider, also volunteered their services to design and implement the Facebook application, and America Online’s in-house creative team offered their services to create compelling online banners and advertising units.

Macy’s, the founding partner of the RESPECT! campaign, has a strong history of support for education and awareness programs that promote positive solutions for healthy relationships.

“We hope that the positive stories generated through this campaign will remind us of the life-changing role that parents, teachers, coaches, and so many other mentors can have on shaping young lives,” said Martine Reardon, Macy’s Chief Marketing Officer.
