How this entry into the Doritos Crash The Super Bowl 2012 contest didn't make it as one the finalist is beyond me. The list of ingredients used in the "Make Your Own Gold" spot alone could have made this a winner.

And the 2011 Super Bowl Ad Biggest Winners Are... A Pug and A Kid?

According to Nielson Ratings Research the 2 most re-called Super Bowl XLV commercials for viewers were Doritos 'Pug Attack' and Budweiser 'Wild West'. And the most liked overall 2011 Super Bowl spots were Volkswagen's 'The Force' and 'Carma' by Bridgestone. The general consensus and it's wildly popularity on the web, appear to have chosen 'The Force' as the big winner at this years Super Bowl, however Neilson's research indicates it did not fare well in brand-recall for Volkswagen. That being said the overall view of this years Super Bowl spots was that they seemed a little weaker than previous Super Bowl's, as it was the rare occasion when the actual game was more memorable than the ads.

Alan Doritos Advert Guitar Hero | The Story Of A Simple Man

The story of Alan, told via this entertaining 4 minute commercial for Doritos and their Guitar Hero promo deal.Doritos does it again with this great epic 4 minute ad starring Alan. The advert titled Alan was done by ABBOTT MEAD VICKERS|BBDO that tells the story of this virtual nobody (Alan) from birth and takes us on a journey through his life who eventually lives his dream of being a rock star, while working in a supermarket he discovers Doritos and Guitar Hero will lead him to his dream. I know what you are thinking, but just stop, it's a commercial take it for it is.

Following up on the Doritos Crash The SuperBowl XLIII contest details from a few weeks ago, the entries are pouring in at the Doritos website. In case you missed it, Doritos is giving you a chance to win a cool million dollars if you can create a commercial that makes it onto the USA Today's Top Superbowl commercials list.
