Angry Customer Voicemail Turned Into Clever Alamo Drafthouse Cimema Ad

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema does not tolerate people talking or texting in their theaters and they take this rule serious. In fact, before every film they give several warnings on screen to prevent such inappropriate theater etiquette. Occasionally however some people don't follow these rules and movie goers have to be escorted out. Case in point is this clever spot that takes an actual voicemail of a customer who was recently kicked out of a Texas theater for her this type of bad behavior. The joke is on her though, as the clever movie chain turned her hilarious customer complaint into a viral video. So watch out the next time you complain to a company, they just might use you in one of their commercials.

It's All in the Art of the Tease in Clever New Billboard Campaign

An ingenious billboard ad campaign from the Netherlands demonstrates the power of suggestion in advertising, albeit a view that no one wants to see. The drawn out billboard campaign titled 'Males Stripper' features a simple caption reading "The sooner you advertise here, the better", which Dutch commuters patiently followed along with over several weeks. The clever "advertise here" ad campaign by Interbest Outdoors then actually thanked the new sponsors who took out the space, with the line "Phew! Thanks Radio 2",  ultimately saving us from the feared money shot that only existed in our minds.

Bombril Vantage Print Ad's "Piranha" & "Aligator" Are Sharp Concepts

Post-it Notes Super Sticky Message for Will and Kate

3M's Post-it Super Sticky Notes helps congratulate Will and Kate with a clever new Royal Wedding ad. With the overwhelming popularity of T-Mobile's dancing homage commercial of the Royal Wedding, other advertisers like 3M are hoping for a similar response. This advert may not go viral like T-Mobile's spot, but it is still an ingenious advert with the copywrite that reads "May you stick together forever". Apparently the guy on the ladder is not part of the ad.

Here is a great example of clever ambient advertising at it's best. The very original idea to use french fries to sell pest control services was pulled off by Terminix and ad agency Publicis Dallas. 'Make Up' Your Own Mind to the First Ever Unretouched Make Up Ad Claim

The new print ad campaign by Make Up For Ever Professional Paris claims that we are looking at the first ever unretouched make up advert in history, of course their is an * beside the claim.  Nonetheless the High Definition foundation unphotoshopped advert works.  Right or wrong, the clever campaign slogan makes you pay attention to the ad, as you are more engaged to look closely at the model.  Undoubtedly, her genetically gifted 17 year old fresh skin doesn't hurt either.

Classical Music Creates New Ideas for Milk and Marketing

Thinking outside of the box is what the people at The Dortmund Concert Hall have done when they created their marketing campaign for their 2011 music season. Accepting the fact that the majority of people are not that interested in classical music, Dortmund developed a plan for people to experience their music through milk. Taking the long proven scientific fact that cows who listen to classical music produce more milk, the great marketing campaign 'The Konzertmilch Case' was born.
