Google Celebrates Freddie Mercury 65th Bday with Google Doodle



Google honors Queen lead singer Freddie Mercury on his what have been his 65th birthday with an animated Google Doodle. The YouTube video has Freddie navigating through a crazy world inspired by his own lyrics. In one scene that looks like a video game, Mercury bounces off clouds, flies on a tiger and shoots at aliens from a spaceship, all to his hit song “Don’t Stop Me Now.” The Google Blog features a guest post by Queen guitarist Brian May, “Happy Birthday, Freddie Mercury“.

The Freddie Mercury doodle was developed over three months at Google by a team led by Doodler Jennifer Hom.
