As a Canadian devoted to her Blackberry thank you for this, but BB10 is your last chance with me RIM! I've been eyeing the Samsung Galaxy S3 and I don't how much longer I can resist an Android or even worse an iPhone....make it good guys, in the meantime a BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha Device might make me happy.

Blackberry Loves U2 Commercial

BlackBerry and U2 teamed for this new commercial titled "BlackBerry Loves U2. With U2 getting set to start their new tour, there seems to be a great deal excitement about the new album, "No Line on the Horizon," and their revolutionary new stage design. Both are on display in "Light," a new "event" spot touting the band's partnership with BlackBerry.
In the Blackberry ad U2 performs a song from their new LP release, with specks of light reflecting off their instruments (and Bono's shades, of course). The specks multiply, and become more prominent, culminating in a visual crescendo. Bono is enveloped in brightness, as he sings of "sparks of light." The camera pulls back over a sea of screaming fans, and we see the entire band onstage. The visual is complemented by the line "BlackBerry Loves U2,"

Blackberry vs Apple in Rejected Ad Campaign

A commercial for the BlackBerry Storm, that was rejected by RIM for being confrontational, is instead becoming a viral master piece spreading itself very quickly online. The 20 second clip features a blackberry being shot through an apple. The Blackberry Storm vs Apple was created by New York advertising agency Guava, in my opinion they never had any intention to actually run this spot on TV but to create the hype and have it go viral instead, mission accomplished.

Credit for the Blackberry shots a bullet through the Apple spot go to the advertising agency Guava in NY. Whatever the deal surrounding the spot really is, who cares this is great a campaign.
