A cool new TV spot from Bavaria Beer features Hugh Hefner and his often demanding bunnies romping around in the infamous Playboy mansion. But apparently even Hugh Hefner needs a break from all the hard work as the Dutch beer ad's insightful tagline "Zo" attests to. Translated the term relates to the common belief that a beer tastes better after you've done hard work to deserve it. The funny and ironic spot is not that far from the truth, as Hefner is known to always keep his "boys" around to unwind after a long day of womanizing - similar to Frank Sinatra's "rat pack", who's classic tune "That's Life" is featured in the fun commercial.

An ingenious billboard ad campaign from the Netherlands demonstrates the power of suggestion in advertising, albeit a view that no one wants to see. The drawn out billboard campaign titled 'Males Stripper' features a simple caption reading "The sooner you advertise here, the better", which Dutch commuters patiently followed along with over several weeks. The clever "advertise here" ad campaign by Interbest Outdoors then actually thanked the new sponsors who took out the space, with the line "Phew! Thanks Radio 2",  ultimately saving us from the feared money shot that only existed in our minds.

As part of Heineken's social networking campaign, they have released a thank you ad to all their "friends" for getting them past the 1 million "likes" mark on Facebook. Companies like Heineken have quickly realized the power of social networking and have now made it an important factor in any multi-pronged marketing campaign, that already includes TV, print, and ambient. The spot itself is enjoyable enough, as it is always fun to watch unassuming strangers get hugs from hot Dutch women.
