The Lynx Effect celebrates achieving 1 million Facebook fans (in the UK) with a creative web film and the Rube Goldberg Machine. The film also features several references and brief clips of popular Axe and Lynx ads including: angel wings (from the Excite campaign), Converse and undies ("Getting Dressed') and the little Chocolate Man.

The music is by Max and Simon and the film is the work of the TMW and it only took 58 takes.

Axe Hurdles Ad | The Axe Effect Hot Putt

"Hot Putt" and "High Street Hurdles", two new AXE EFFECT spots.

AXE brings their advertising back to where it was prior to the shift we saw with The Fear NO Susan Glenn spot that featured Kiefer Sutherland, with sexy athletic women doing Hurdles in the street and throwing a Shot Put ball through a window before pole vaulting in the Axe wearing guys room, or as Axe defines them: "Hot Putt" and "High Street Hurdles".

AXE Hair New "Office Love" Commercial

In typical Axe fashion, a woman's torso is the star in the newest commercial for Axe Hair entitled "Office Love." I hate to admit it but I like it. Axe claims, "it's not our fault we're visual creatures....Hair. It's What Girls See First."

AXE Anarchy is Coming

Apparently anarchy is coming to Axe, the newest ad campaign for AXE. They have also introduced a Graphic Novel that is going to be written by you! Check it out for yourself here.

Lynx Dry Ad and Lucy Pinder Get Banned In The UK

Lucy Pinder and the Lynx Dry ad campaign gets banned by the UK's Advertising Standards Authority because they are said to be sexually suggestive, indecent, provocative, glamorize casual sex and objectify women, so there ya go.
Here's a behind the scenes look into all three commercials in the campaign.

Lynx said the campaign is simply what the target, young men "come to expect, and were comfortable with the typical narrative, tone and content seen in advertising for the brand" and in relation to beach-based ads, "she [the model in the ad] was not undressed to an extent that would be in any way unusual in that location."

New Lynx/Axe Spot Uses Shortcut Scrubbing In Viral Ad

Tired of the all the Lynx/Axe viral spots yet, well this one created by Razorfish uses a cool effect called "shortcut scrubbing." Razorfish says it's the first time it's ever been used in an ad, view the spot to see the interactive instructions. Play this video, click on the timeline and press 5 7 3 8 to get the Lynx Effect. Good stuff.
Keep your eye on the clown in background too.

Axe 2012 Ad Campaign; Could This Be The "Final Edition" For The Sexy Advertiser

Capitalizing on the approaching end of days prediction, Axe have created a new ad campaign titled Axe 2012 that coincides with the "Final Edition" new product line. Even though 2012 is a Mayan prediction and has nothing to do with the Noah's Arc story, Axe has chosen to continue in the same vain as their other successful 'Fallen Angels' religious theme campaign. Nonetheless, the spots production values are top notch with some inventive wood working props and set designs. And as always the sexy Axe formula is present in this one, as the enchanted girls line up 2 by 2 to board the hip new Arc.

Axe Excite Ad Campaign "Fallen Angels" Returns

Axe ads have always had a reputation for being sexist and juvenile, but their latest ad campaign titled "Fallen Angels" is a clever yet blasphemous take on their predictable and humerus notion that women can't control themselves around the teen deodorant. This sexy ad will make the Catholic Church blush, as it features fashion models Adewole Bretty, Sara Samson, Josipa Jankovic and Magda Klebanska as Fallen Angels to temptation.

This 2011 Brazilian version isn't the first time Axe has used the images of sexy Fallen Angels in their adverts, as Lowe Bull advertising agency created a similar print ad back in 2006 for Axe's South African market.

Axe Lynx Bullet The Pocket Pulling Power Billboard

The Axe Bullet with Pocket Pulling Power, that's right I said pocket pulling power took their advertising to a new level with a live billboard on Old Street in central London. The billboard features Lauren Budd and yes she is very real and that is really her up there in the jean pocket of the Axe Bullet billboard.
This was done last March, but after visiting The Denver Egotist's website today who posted this I just had to share it with everyone who might have missed it.

From JCDecaux Innovate's website:
Stunning model Lauren Budd gave commuters a thrill this morning as Lynx unveiled their first live billboard on JCDecaux’s Première 400 billboard at Old Street for the new pocket sized Lynx Bullet. The campaign was booked through Kinetic and Mindshare.

Pocket rocket Lauren stopped passers-by in their tracks as she invited guys to embrace on-the-go pulling by appearing on Lynx’s ‘Thrillboard’ in London’s Old Street. Standing in a denim pocket elevated above the famous East London Street, she called for a Pocket Pulling Power revolution. Hot Lynx girl Lauren was encouraging guys to never miss a pulling opportunity.

These sexy shots of Lauren thrilling people on their way to work are part of the nationwide launch of new Lynx Bullet – the UK’s first pocket sized grooming essential designed for 24/7 pulling.

The Lynx ‘Thrillboard’ is a first for the brand and Lauren was delighted to be posing in a pocket to launch this portable grooming essential.

Now who wouldn't just love to read a few quotes from Lauren Budd?
“Pocket Pulling Power is about giving guys an instant boost of the Lynx Effect with new Lynx Bullet so they never miss an opportunity.”

“I want British guys to be prepared for the ‘laydee’s’ day or night, 24/7, so they never miss an opportunity with new Lynx Bullet and Pocket Pulling Power.”

“Guys are always looking for an opportunity to pull - I get chatted up on the train, in shops and even when I’m in a pocket at 8am on Old Street!!”

“The opportunity to pose in a pocket for Lynx’s first live billboard was great fun. I felt like a real pocket rocket up there!”

New Axe Twist Robot Commercial

Directed by the Perlorian Brothers, this ad for Axe called "Twist" demonstrates how making a good impression at the right time gets you places. The Mill contributed to the ad by creating the robot arms which lend a helping hand, or rather pincer, to make sure the hero character is suitably groomed and ready for action at all times.
